Public-private partnership (PPP) is a collaboration between a government agency and a private-sector company that can be used to finance, build, and operate projects, such as public transportation networks, parks, and convention centers. In India, PPP mode is a popular way to implement infrastructure projects, as it allows the government to leverage private sector expertise and capital to deliver projects more efficiently and effectively.
There are three(03)the degree colleges under PPP mode in Jharkhand:
- Chaibasa Engineering College, Chaibasa
- Dumka Engineering College, Dumka
- Ramgarh Engineering College, Ramgarh
These colleges are established under the public-private partnership (PPP) mode by the Government of Jharkhand and Techno India Group. They offer undergraduate courses in engineering, namely:
Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Civil Engineering
Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical Engineering
Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering
Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science and Engineering
The admission to these colleges is based on the Jharkhand Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) conducted by the JCECEB.
The PPP mode of education is a collaboration between the government and private sector to provide quality education to the students. It helps to improve the infrastructure and facilities of the colleges and also provides better teaching and learning environment.
