Palamu Medical College (PMC) was established in 2019 by the Government of Jharkhand. It is located in Medininagar, the district headquarters of Palamu district. The college is affiliated to Nilamber-Pitamber University (NPU) and is approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

The college offers a 5-year undergraduate medical course leading to the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree. The admission to the MBBS course is through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination (NEET).
