BIT Sindri and Government Engineering College, Palamu are only two Govt. B. Tech Colleges  in Jharkhand,

• BIT Sindri, or Birla Institute of Technology, Sindri, was established in 1949 and is one of the oldest engineering colleges in the country. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs in various engineering disciplines, including  Civil, Chemical , Electrical ,Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanical, Metallurgical, Mining, and Production.  The alumni of BIT Sindri have excelled in various fields, including industry, academia, and research. The college has a well-established reputation for providing quality education and research in engineering and technology. It has state-of-the-art facilities, modern labs, and experienced faculty members who are experts in their respective fields.
• Government Engineering College, Palamu, was established in 2019 and is a relatively new college in the state. The college offers undergraduate degree programs in Mechanical ,Civil, C.S.E. and Electrical Engineering. It aims to provide quality education to students in the field of engineering and technology and to prepare them for successful careers in their respective fields. The college has modern infrastructure, well-equipped labs, and experienced faculty members who help students develop their technical and professional skills.

Both  Govt. B. Tech Colleges are providing quality engineering education in Jharkhand. BIT Sindri has a long-standing reputation for excellence in engineering education and research, while Government Engineering College, Palamu, is a relatively new college that aims to provide quality education and training to students in the field of engineering and technology.
