Introduction
AIIMS Deoghar is a public medical university and hospital located in Deoghar, Jharkhand, India. It is one of the 22 new AIIMS institutes that were established by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) in 2019. The institute is located in a semi-urban area on a 236.92-acre (95.88 ha) campus.

Academics
AIIMS Deoghar offers undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD/MS) programs in allopathic medicine. The institute also offers a number of diploma and certificate courses in various medical fields. Admissions to the undergraduate program are made through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination (NEET). Admissions to the postgraduate programs are made through the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) entrance examination.
